New Stereo

Still dealing with the crappy audio problems of this Peterbilt stereo, low volume and bad squeeling when using AUX port have left me trying several different options over the last few years, from using a separate speaker system, which sounds nice but leaves me with a bunch of extra wires hanging around to a BT speaker from Verizon, which sounded great, but quickly proved unworthy of holding up to the rigors of trucking life, to a heavy duty BT speaker I'm using now, which I paid 150.00 for at Loves. Holds up well, but the sound quality is kinda low still, I like some loud music, so I finally went on Ebay and found myself a real BT stereo for about $32. It should be here by the end of the week, and I'll have the shop install it this weekend. Guess if I would have done that in the first place, could've saved a lot of trouble.

New Bumper

Back in May I asked the boss if I could have a chrome bumper for my truck, he approved it, and I was at the shop a few weeks ago and they told me I had a shiny new bumper that had been sitting there for a few weeks! So of course I had it installed right away, probably less then 30 minutes, it was the fastest bumper they ever changed they said. Truck looks awesome now!
